How to Prepare

Coco Peat requires some preparation. Users should note that Coco Peat comes in a compressed form that expands up to 5 or 6 times in size after it is prepared.

  • Place the bale in a container.

  • Add around 15 liters of water (warm water works the fastest).

  • Let the peat stay in the water until it becomes loose and absorbs the water.

  • Break up any remaining lumps and stir, add more water if the peat still looks dry.

  • Once it has gained enough moisture and becomes loose, it is ready to use.
