Benefits

  • It comes with a soil mix, ideal for growing bell peppers.

  • Perfect option if you have minimal space.

  • Easy to use and assemble.

  • Breathability and aeration of growbags lead to better root health through air-pruning; when roots are exposed to air they are in-effect burned off and new healthier root branches grow. As opposed to roots in pots which often entangle and circle causing damage to the plant.

  • Prevents overwatering which can sometimes kill the plant; any excess water/moisture is drained out.

  • Better temperature regulation than pots due to breathability and aeration as opposed to pots which can trap heat.

  • Easy to move and transport.

How to use

  • Grow bags can be used in greenhouses and hydroponic systems, or they can be used on their own.

    1. Using a sharp knife or a sharp tool, cut a few holes in the top to match the size of the seedlings.

    2. Make sure that the holes for the seedlings are directed upwards.

    3. Add water until the mixture expands and fills the bag.

    4. Grow bags are irrigated with an appropriate amount of water.

    5. Do not overwater the media to avoid overflowing of the water out of the grow bags or the accumulation of water at the bottom of the grow bag causing various problems.

    6. If a container or a bowl is placed under the grow bag, a knife or sharp tool can be used to cut holes in the bottom to drain excess water.

    7. In this case, leave the bag for at least 24 hours until all the excess water drains out.

    8. Then put the seedlings.
